Appointments can be scheduled up to (48) hours in advance.

Please call ASAP if you need to cancel so others may utilize these limited offerings.

*Appointments begin on the hour and half hour. Last appointment of the day ends 15 minutes before closing.*

Guidelines

  • Limit of one (1) two–hour block of time per day.
  • Rooms require check-in and check-out with 2nd Floor Information Desk Staff prior to access.
  • Study Rooms: 1-3 persons.
  • Conference Room: 3-5 persons.
  • At least one person must continuously occupy study/conference room during use.
  • Please note: The Conference Room is best suited for those looking for an in-person meeting room or quiet study space. It is currently experiencing intermittent issues with Wi-Fi access. If this is a concern, please consider reserving a Study Room or asking a librarian for alternate suggestions. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue.

Walk-ins are permitted but 2-hour use is not guaranteed. 30 minutes late counts as a no-show and staff will cancel the appointment. Occupants must follow the above guidelines. Please consult the adult services department to get information about what room setup suits your internet and wifi needs. Call us at 979-465-4428, email info@newburyportpl.org, or use the chat function on the library website.

Ask us about alternative working spaces in the library!

Visitors are expected to adhere to all library guidelines and policies.
